Have you tried our pears yet?! 🍐 They are so delicious! I normally eat them fresh, but last night I made a rustic pear galette, and I have to share the recipe with you! It was so easy to make! If we are being honest, I don’t make many desserts like this because I struggle with making pie crust. But when you are making a galette, it doesn’t matter how well you roll out the crust! 🙌 Next time I make this, I may even try a pre made pie crust and see how it turns out! We hope you enjoy this recipe! 👩‍🍳

Start by making (or purchasing) a standard pie crust. Roll it out to about a 10 – 12” circle. Place the crust on a baking sheet (I lined mine with parchment paper). Next, peel and thinly slice the pears (I used 4 medium sized pears). I left the pears plain, but you can toss them with some lemon juice, sugar and/or cinnamon. It’s really up to you! Place the pear slices in the middle of the pie crust, and then gently fold over the edges of the crust. Some of the crust can cover the edge of the pears. Next, whisk an egg. Brush the egg on the crust of the galette, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in the oven at 350 F for about 45 minutes, or until the galette is golden brown. Enjoy! This galette is excellent with a dollop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream! 😊
